From the 1988 film 'The Adventures of Baron Munchausen' I re-invented seven of the characters by focusing my research on Italian renaissance paintings, specifically the 1500’s. I was inspired by the way they told a story by the depth within  paintings, and also how the draping of fabric represented each person within the painting. I used this to show my characters individual beauty and personality and from my designs I decided to develop further the character Venus by making her costume. For Venus' costume I tried to use as many sustainable fabric's that could be found in my home.
