Emily Fenton

​During the two years of Fashion Design I learnt many skills such as pattern cutting, manufacture, trend analysis, garment fittings and how to use photoshop and illustrator to create CAD's. I learnt how to bring my designs to life and how to make them relevant to the industry, and by doing a collaboration with the fashion brand NEXT I gained the experience of how to work professionally when working as a team as well presenting to the industry.

From the two years of Fashion Design I realised that my designs were translating more as a costume, and that I had more of a passion to design and make costumes but still using all my fashion knowledge. So in September 2019 I successfully transferred into Costume Design at NTU.
